Can we trust vaccines: autism and neurodevelopmental disorders

Do studies demonstrate or suggest a link between autism and vaccinations? Do pharmaceutical companies have an ulterior motive to hide links?

Infant and early childhood vaccines - are there links to autism and neurological disorders?

Research has repeatedly demonstrated that both mercury and aluminium can have a serious impact on neurological development. As an infant has an undeveloped immune system, we must consider whether the large number of vaccines that contain mercury and/or aluminium that are injected into their vulnerable, developing bodies so early on, may impact the development of their brains.

Should I be concerned about vaccines?

When I first heard the suggestion that there might be a link between infant and early childhood vaccines and autism, I admit I was sceptical ... that is until I did my own research.

I discovered a number of studies showing or suggesting links between infant and early childhood vaccines and autism as well as neurological disorders. Please see link below to a document I put together on just some of the studies in relation to mercury or aluminium in vaccines.

Several studies have been calling for urgent investigations into mercury and aluminium in vaccines - some for over a decade!

I found the studies in the linked document, in just two days of research. You may like to put some time of your own into locating other studies as well. This document is freely available online to read and the link shared if you wish, but be aware that it's not downloadable.

What I found particularly alarming was that there were TWO studies in which the CDC (Centers for Disease Control, US) was found to have deliberately omitted data from their own studies which suggested or showed links, including evidence in one that African American kids were far more likely to develop autism as a result of vaccinations:

Are vaccines the cause of autism and neurological disorders?

Several studies suggest that autism and neurological disorders are multifactorial, i.e. there may be several reasons why levels of autism and neurodevelopment disorders have increased so alarmingly in the last several decades.

In addition to vaccines, other contributing factors may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • some children and people are genetically more susceptible to aluminium and/or mercury, so even the minutest amount may be too much for them;

  • during development in the womb, some babies may absorb aluminium or mercury via their mother's bodies such as through underarm deodorant or from the old style mercury fillings in the teeth, and while the amounts may be small, as the tiny baby is still developing in the womb, it may have an enormous impact on their brain development as well as their immune system, and again, there may be a genetic factor in this;

  • in some countries and cultures where seafood makes up a important portion of their diet, the high level of mercury in seafood has led to increased autism and neurodevelopmental disorders;

  • higher levels of aluminium and mercury can be found naturally in soils in different areas, or may be found near factories or plants where these products are made, and anyone living in homes nearby may be vulnerable to the higher levels.

Are all childhood vaccines bad?

In the past, we've had some horrendous diseases and sicknesses that caused untold suffering and deaths for millennia, resulting in significant mortality rates and left many people permanently harmed, disfigured and disabled.

I believe vaccines are inherently good, but we must be able to trust that those who provide those vaccines are doing so with the protection of our children and all human beings at the forefront, rather than profits.

I imagine that one of the main reasons why evidence is being ignored or suppressed is because these large pharmaceutical companies have one main reason for doing so: profit!

If vaccines are proven to be a cause of autism and neurodevelopmental disorders, it will open the floodgates to litigation and will cost the pharmaceutical companies enormous amounts of money, and so they are HIGHLY motivated to suppress any suggestion that there may be a link.

What should I do to protect my baby from autism and neurodevelopmental disorders?

If you're concerned that vaccines are the cause, then depending on your country's vaccine protocols, and which ones are used, you may be able to request vaccines that don't contain mercury or aluminium. I understand that some countries have already removed mercury in many vaccines.

Consider though, that if you don't vaccinate your child, you are putting them at risk of possibly catching one of these horrific diseases and sicknesses. The fact that so many parents are now refusing to vaccinate their young ones, means that the risk of your little one catching a disease has increased.

Before you make a decision not to vaccinate, may I urge you to research exactly what diseases your child will be vaccinated against. Please understand how truly terrible these once were, the high infant deaths, the awful suffering of these little ones, and the serious long-term health consequences. With polio for example, even when a person has recovered, many years later they may later suffer from post-polio syndrome which can cause other permanent health complications.

Following are links to some of the major diseases and illnesses covered in normal vaccines which you may like to read more about:

There are of course other diseases and illnesses included in vaccines as well, and you can easily find out more information about them.

Why should you take the time to read about them? Consider for example, that if your child gets a bad case of whooping cough, you're likely going to have to take a minimum THREE months off work to look after them, because that's how long it takes for it to leave the body. It's so highly infectious, the rest of the family, including parents will be vulnerable to catching it as well, so the time away from work may be considerably longer than three months.

Conclusion

I was 12 when I had my rubella vaccination and discovered that I was allergic to it. Thankfully the reaction wasn't too severe, but I spent a very painful and miserable week getting over it. Because I'm allergic to it, my body was unable to take in the vaccine, so I'm completely vulnerable to rubella should I ever come into contact with someone who has it.

The fact is that all of our bodies are distinctly different genetically and in multiple other ways. While it would be nice if all medications and vaccinations suited every human body, the fact is, that's just not possible. Some of us are going to be more vulnerable to what's in certain vaccines and medications than other people.

Ultimately, the choice to vaccinate or not, is up to you, but I encourage you to weigh the risks and spend the time researching to determine what will likely cause less harm to your child. Please don't blindly accept what either your health professional or social media anti-vaxers claim is the unbiased truth.

Your child's health and development is worth putting some effort into, to figure it out for yourself, isn't it? I wish you all the best if you have to make that decision.
